About Me/ Company

I'm Matt, the business owner. We have recently evolved our dog training business to incorporate daycare at our own venue in Halifax West Yorkshire. POSITIVE POOCHES CANINE ACADEMY is a dog orientated business looking to help owners develop a happy dog through responsible care and training. From Mon to Fri, 8am til 6pm we are able to care for a limited number of dogs with interactive play and a secure environment.
We have an open door policy for people wishing to view our facilities and on Saturdays even have a coffee shop whilst events are ongoing so come and have a nosey with no obligations :)

Previous Experience

The business is run by myself Matt and my wife Krissy. We are both dog trainers with a good understanding of the differing needs of dogs of varying breed and energy levels and how these can affect dogs in a group environment.
I am an affiliate of the British Institute Of Professional Dog Trainers and am a student member of the KENNEL CLUB ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR scheme working towards accreditation.
I am governed by a constructive code of conduct in relation to canine welfare and always work towards that standard.
Krissy is a trained veterinary nurse with a good understanding of dogs so we are well equipped to handle your dog safely and you can rest easy that we have the skills to ensure that your dog is in good hands.
