About Me/ Company

Hi, my name is Leanne and I run Pootling Poochesâ„¢.

Since I was a little girl I have always had a passion for animals. I have owned guinea pigs, cats, dogs and horses.

I have two cats, one dog and two horses of my own. I have a particular interest in Parelli Natural Horsemanship.

My time spent with these beautiful animals is absolutely amazing and made me realise that the 9-5 job that I was used to wasn’t for me.

I know from my own experience when Alice was a puupy that it is very hard to find someone who willl look after your puppy or dog as you would. Alice suffered with severe Separation Anxiety as a puppy. This inspired me to start my own business in an area that I'm truly passionate about, and after a lot of hard work, Pootling Poochesâ„¢ was born.

My dog is called Alice, an English Pointer. You can be rest assured that when I'm looking after your animal, whether it be walking your dog, or feeding your cats, they will receive as much love and attention as if they were my own.

I accept clients from Uckfield and surrounding areas. I am available to walk your dogs between the hours of 8am & 5pm.

I aim to make the service as flexible as possible to fit around the needs of you & your dog(s). I understand that people & their dogs are individual & that their requirements cannot happily be met by treating them all the same! That’s why I strive to give you as much choice as possible about what kind of service I provide.

Other Services

Home Visits – Cats & Small Animals
If you would prefer for your cat to stay in the comfort of their own home whilst you are away, I can pop round once or twice a day to feed, make a fuss over and clean up litter trays. Home visits are also available for small domestic pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and hamsters, a great alternative to asking a friend or neighbour each time.

Home Visits - Dog walk & feed
Do you have a commitment during the week or even on the weekend resulting in you being out for the majority of the day? I can pop round to walk and feed your dog to ensure that they are exercised and happy for your return home.

Puppy Visits
It is important in a puppy’s early months that they get as much attention and socialisation as possible to ensure they grow up to be confident and well-adjusted. I offer 1 hour home visits, which include play, toilet breaks and feed.

Horse Feed, Turnout and Stable Clean
If you have a commitment and are unable to feed your horse/s I can visit the stables and feed them for you. This service also includes turnout and mucking out their stable.
