About Me/ Company

My name is Sandra Hodgson,and have recently set up Pooch's Promenade's after being made redundant from my job.Most people might see this as a disaster in these times,but it has given me the chance to do something I love doing,which is walking and being with dogs. As the owner of a rather large and excitable German Shepherd,it has given me more time to spend with him,which he loves.
As a dog owner,I know how important it is to avoid the issues of a dog being bored when left alone,and the need for regular exercise and socialisation.
It is my aim to ensure that all dogs are treated as part of our family,and enjoy their time with us.

Previous Experience

As the owner of a large German Shepherd dog who is 6 years old,I am experienced in looking after dogs of all sizes & ages,as I also look after my friends German Shepherd when she is working away.Recently I have been walking a 2 year old dalmatian whose owner unfortunately had to go into hospital unexpectedly.Luckily he gets on very well with my dog,and they love chasing each other around the park!Needless to say I end up with two very tired,but happy dogs!
Through Dog Walking Now website,I have recently been looking after two Cocker Spaniel puppies called Jarvis & Honey,who are five months old and full of energy! Jarvis has just had his first overnight stay at my home,which went well.
I am also looking after a French Bulldog puppy named Garp,who is just the sweetest dog,and a real character! He has just had his first overnight stay at my home,and he adores my dog Jazz,even though he is only the size of Jazz's head! They have lots of fun!
For the last 10 weeks I have been looking after Bertie,who is a rather large Great Dane, who gets on well with all the other dogs I look after, Jazz loves having another big dog in the house!

Other Services

As well as dog walking I also offer home visits,and day care in my own home.If you would just like someone to visit your dog and allow access to the garden during the day,this can be arranged.I can arrange day care in my own home,for people who work all day.This would include walking,and feeding if required.
