About Me/ Company

Hello lovely pony and pooch owners!
My name is Lydia, I am 26 and have recently moved to the outskirts of Derby.
I love animals especially horses and dogs.
I have only just set up around here although have done a lot of horse sitting in the past where most owners also had dogs that requires walking hence where the dog care services came in.
I have recently left my office job to get back into the great outdoors and felt like it was a good opportunity to help people out with their 4 legged friends; whether you are going away and need your horse caring for or need your dog walking whilst you’re at work.

Previous Experience

I have plenty or experience with both horses and dogs. Growing up with both around me all the time. My boyfriend and I currently have 7 dogs of our own which certainly keeps us busy.
I have worked on livery yards from full/competition livery providing the entire care and exercise regime, to part/DIY providing basic care services for owners that had additional commitments.

Qualifications & Training

I have a National Diploma in Horse Management- topics including animal husbandry, animal behaviour and training.
I then went on to complete a BSc Honours degree in Equine Studies for 3 years

Other Services

I am available to come to your house/farm to care for your horses eg muck out, turn out, hay/water, exercise, groom, show preparation etc whilst you are away on holiday or at work and also walk your dog whilst I am there.
