About Me/ Company
Hi,
I’m Polly and I am a yoga and meditation teacher and I also have over 15 years experience, owning and working with animals. I am friendly, professional and I love spending time with animals and would love to come and walk/take care of yours as I currently do not have any pets!
Previous Experience
I spent almost ten years of my life working with horses at a yard with dogs and cats too! I have a first class degree in Equine Science and I specialised in animal biology and microbiology. Following my degree I went on to become a Full Time Animal Keeper at the University. At this Job I was responsible for an array of animals including birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals including marketeers, llamas, goats, wallabies and many more!
I have volunteered all over the world at Animal Sanctuaries for months at a time working with a huge range of species including bears, otters, deer, nocturnal, apes and chimps, dogs and cats, elephants, large birds and farm yard animals such as cows, pigs, sheep, rabbits and small rodents.
I have house sitted many times with Trusted Housesitters.com in Australia and looked after many dogs and cats in the process. I also worked for nine months at a dog groomers which was so much fun!
I have now been back in the UK for over a year I would love the opportunity to gain some extra money alongside my yoga teaching and I feel like walking dogs or house sitting would be the perfect job for me!
Qualifications & Training
