About Me/ Company
I live in the countryside, though am originally a towny . have a bassett hound and 2 welsh collies, a cat, 18 chickens and a rabbit.I also care for my friends pigs and goats as well as horses though I dont ride them.
I will also mind your house and clean any accidents up inside and out, I will take your rubbish out and bring your mail in at no extra cost, more importantly I will spend 1x1 time with your animals too.
I am available from 6.30 am to 11.00pm and for short notice bookings too, also I dont charge for extra tasks that may be required to care for your animals, there is one charge and thats it. I am fully insured ,am a member of petsitters alliance, have a clean CRB certificate and am an animal first aider.
I am insured to do pet taxi also and if I am ill I also am insured for a helper so you will not be left without a pet sitter.
Previous Experience
I have looked after many breeds of dog all with their own characters, I will not walk dogs off the lead unless the owner signs a form and never take more than two at a time ,I do not charge extra either.I have cared for sick animals as well as some wild life. My repotoire includes reptiles ,even meerkats and a hairy armadillo!
I know that all animals do NOT like having their routine upset and I have seen first hand the problems this causes, hence your pets /animals are better off staying in their own enviroment.
Some problems are anxiety leading to behavioural issues which then in turn lead to stress and psychological problems. You do not have to have the extra cost of vaccinations for kennel cough either.
Qualifications & Training
I have an NVQ 4 in management and have a teaching and assessing qualification in nursing and of course I am a registered psychiatric nurse. I have completed an animal first aid course also. I have worked on a voluntary basis with Sam,s safaris, this is an animal education businness that travels the country teaching people about different animals, pets, as well as the exotic, birds of prey ,meerkats and reptiles of all sorts..
