About Me/ Company

Hi, I'm Claire and I am available for Dog Daycare, overnight care, holiday care and Dog walking.

I cover Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Studley, Stratford and surrounding areas.

After working in caring professions for over 20years with people; I decided to make the change to working with and caring for dogs.

I have experience of raising my own, two springer spaniels; who are now one year. I enjoy spending as much time with dogs as possible and treat all dogs as if they were my own.

Dog daycare is run from my home; so you can be assured they will have a home from home experience. Dog walking is included in dog daycare and usually lasts up to an hour, once or twice a day, depending on the length of stay of your dog.

I can also do basic training with your dog if required.

Puppies are welcome, once vaccinated.

I can offer dog boarding for your dog while you are away on holiday.

Your dog will spend their time with my springers who are very friendly and playful. Spaces are limited to two dogs. If you have more than two dogs you would like to place with me; please let me know.

Please let me know your requirements and i will do my best to accommodate you.

Perhaps you want to go for a day out with family and the dogs cannot accompany you! Your dog can stay and play with us for the day.

Previous Experience

Before getting a dog; I researched different breeds and watched programmes like 'It's me or the dog' and 'The Dog Whisperer'. I found these programmes inspirational and liked the message of positive reinforcement. I wanted to make sure I was prepared and would give our dog the best life experience.

A year later and we adopted not one, but two English Springer Spaniels. We visited them twice a week from the age of 2 weeks, until the happy day arrived when we were able to bring them home. They settled in straight away because they were already familiar with us.

Over the course of their first year; I have continued to read books on dog behaviour and training, watch educational programmes, observe my own dogs behaviour and expand my knowledge. I have implemented various techniques which are recommended. Some worked, some didn't.

Finally; I found a lifestyle which suited both us and the dogs called 'Pure Dog Listening'. I now use this technique with my dogs and I am really happy with the results. Communication between us has improved and the outcome is; dogs who are happy to let me take the lead while they get on with enjoying life.
