About Me/ Company

I am currently studying for a degree in animal management and am in my final year. I adore animals especially dogs but are unable to have any as a pet as I have two cats in my household. I have a lot of experience with dogs as I currently volunteer at a rescue centre in the dog section. I also have my own car so would have no transport issues.

Previous Experience

July 2011 – Present Riverside Animal Rescue Centre
I currently volunteer once a week at Riverside Animal Rescue Centre in Beddington Park.
My responsibilities include:
• Cleaning out a range of animal cages
• Feeding the domestic animals
• Walking the dogs and socialising the puppies


August Metropolitan Police Dog training in Kent
I volunteered at the Metropolitan Police Dog training centre in Kent.
My responsibilities included:
• Observed in the veterinary surgery.
• Assisted with the dog agility and combat training.
• Helped clean, walk and socialise the dogs

July 2009 Nescot College Farm
My responsibilities included:
• Assisted with basic pig training
• Was in charge of regular feeding and cleaning schedules
• Mentored fellow students on the day to day routine of the farm and distributed roles accordingly

June 2009 & June 2006 Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre
My responsibilities included:
• Assisted with hoof dipping amongst the flock of sheep
• Assisted with regular feeding and cleaning of all the animals

June 2009 Mark and Anne Nelsons Vet Surgery
My responsibilities included:
• Overseeing animals consultations
• Observed various surgical procedures including castration and laparotomy
• Helped stock rooms with medical supplies.

• Helping transport sealife animals to their new enclosures.
