About Me/ Company

We really love dogs of all shapes and sizes. We love walking in all weathers, (yes, really); we love ball games; we love having water shaken all over us!!

We are CRB checked and fully insured.

I am Ros Locke and I took over the running of Pets First in 2007, when after working for 20 years in cancer research, I was able to turn my life-long love of animals into a new career.

Pets First is a local and friendly dog walking/pet sitting business established in Maidenhead since 2000.

Doggie clients are walked by a professional and dedicated handler, in a safe location close to home, on their own or in a small group. We don't walk dogs in large packs. We are true animal lovers, and support local animal charities in our spare time. When anywhere near your home, we use only unmarked cars, (not vans), to protect your privacy and security.

Previous Experience

I have always had pets of my own, including a reject guide dog. I'm a life member of Guide Dogs and also support Cats Protection, the RSPB and Twinke Trust.
