About Me/ Company

Hello my name is Tracy and the proud owner and founder of Pets at Home Alone in home pet-sitting.
I’ve always had a passion for animals. Growing up, we had a whole host of pets in the family including dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits and hamsters and I really couldn’t imagine a life without them. Family and friends would always rely on me to take care of their pets when they were away, knowing their pets were in safe hands and were so much happier staying at home. Even if I found an injured animal outside I’d always take them home to help them. This is why I began my Pets at Home Alone journey.
Right now I’m owned by two beautiful cats , my very patient husband Neil and I brought back to the UK from Dubai. My precious LC which is short for Little Cat or Lucky Cat because of his bad start in his life , (he had diaphragmatic hernia) and my gorgeous, shy , big boy Hedges, both are my absolute world.

My boys are in-door cats and the very thought of putting them in a cattery is just a no go. I believe I'm not alone in this thought. Knowing that your cat won't experience the trauma of the transportation to a cattery, being in an unfamiliar environment, receive lots of love and personal attention and play time.

My elderly dogs service of love hugs and tummy rubs is also a huge part of my portfolio of services. Having cared for my elderly dogs who all needed special medication, is passionate service I want to offer to doggie parents who are worried or concerned about leaving their greying companion all day, especially if they have recently been recovering from illness or surgery. Providing care to pets is my passion and has given me the determination to start Pets at Home Alone to provide this service to other cats, dogs, and other small animals.

Whether you are away due to work commitments, a weekend break or holiday, Pets At Home Alone is here for your pets and you.

I completely understand your pets are unique with their own special ways. Therefore, all services are bespoke, tailored to your pets needs. Giving you, as a ‘pet parent’, peace of mind, your cherished pet will be taken care of in a safe, flexible, affordable way while you are separated.

I completely understand your concerns when letting a stranger into your home, which is why I offer an free initial visit to discuss your pets needs and to reassure you of my honesty and reliability.
And, most importantly, to meet you and your pets to ensure they feel calm and safe around me. My service is completely discreet and confidential. I work across the Wirral and use an unmarked car to avoid attention to your absence and will vary visit times. I provide daily pet updates by mobile phone and email to report how your precious pet is doing.
