About Me/ Company

My name is Lynsey Cunningham and I have just set up a new dog walking business called Pet Pawz. I am fully insured and DBS checked to put your mind at ease. I am based in Bedlington, Northumberland and cover the following areas: Bedlington, Cramlington, Morpeth, Blyth, Ashington and their surrounding areas. I offer solo dog walks, group dog walks (however only from one household at present) puppy school, photo walks and pet visits including, dogs, cats, puppies and small animals. My prices start from £7.50 per hour or £5.50 per half hour.

Previous Experience

I have gained a years professional experience working with animals via working at the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter. Whilst working there I had roughly 30 dogs in my care on a daily basis, here I fed them twice a day, cleaned their kennels, walked them on and off their leaders and played with them. Not only did I look after dog, I also took care of cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and helped with horses and farm animals. I have taken care of a large range of breeds and have worked with all ages, from a day old puppies to dogs over the age of 10. I have also have a lot of non professional experinece working with animals. I have had pets all my life including dogs, rabbits, fish and a hamster. I currently own a 12 year old black labrador. I have looked after a young puppy for family friend whilst they were at work, along with their 2 older dogs. Whilst caring for the puppy, I also trained him, played with him, cleaned up after him and walked him along with the other 2, therefore I have experience of walking more than one dog. I also walked another family friends dog whilst they were on holiday for 2 weeks, as well as when the owner was taken into hospital so I continued walking the dog so they didn't have to worry about her. Also I have looked after a young cat for more family friends whilst they were away on holiday for 2 weeks. This required me to visit their house twice a day for 2 weeks. Each day, I fed, played with and let the cat out and spent a couple of hours a day at their house.
