About Me/ Company

Hey my name is Mel i have wanted to work with animals as far back as i can remember. I have had pets from a young age starting off with hamsters. I currently have a dog named Shandy, two hamsters Dean and Ruby, a degu named Pepper and a pony named Theo, within the family.
Enough about me more about the service i am providing. Pet Antics is there for pet owners that have a busy schedule, recent illness or for people who would just like a bit of time to themselves. I will take your dog for a walk once or twice a day depending what you want, simply feed your dog and make sure they are okay through out the day to give you a peace of mind.

Previous Experience

I have recently worked at a pet shop who looked after small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, small rodents and birds whilst they went on holiday. I have a dog within the family called shandy who is a Border Collie cross German Shepherd therefore I understand the care that dogs needs and that they need to be mentally stimulated as well as physically stimulated therefore walks are essential to their daily care. Also as a youngster I used to take out relatives dogs and a neighbours dog so i understand that each dog will have different behaviours.

Qualifications & Training

I spent two years at Myerscough College in Garstang and completed the National Diploma in Animal Management with a Triple Distinction. This course included multiple different modules on different subjects such as dog training, boarding kennels, animal welfare and many more.

Other Services

Depending on what individual customer wants me to do, I will look after any small animal from hamsters to rats by taking them into my home or going into feed them at your home.
Anyone who has a horse/pony and needs a hand i am willing to feed clean out and exercise if need be but this depends on their location.
