About Me/ Company

After 3 years of studying I am now fully qualified with a FdSc degree in Animal management & behaviour, a BSc(Hons) degree in APPLIED animal training & behaviour, of which I will graduate in October 2018, as well as a canine first aid qualification.

I have a passion for working with animals in husbandry tasks and training and have the experience to work with a variety of different animals including; dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, reptiles, exotics, fish, marmosets, ring tail & red ruff lemurs, otters, meerkats, rhea, birds, skunks, ferrets, tortoises, amphibians and basic horse and livestock care enabling me to accommodate for most animals.

I am a friendly, reliable person who will do my utmost best to provide the 5* service that you and your animals deserve. I take pride in my force free positive reinforcement methods and can guarantee that your animals will be safe, happy and comfortable under my care.

Services:

Pet Taxi - prices range from £6:
Transporting your pet to and from the kennels, grooming appointments and routine vet appointments. Ideal for those without cars and/or full time workers that struggle to get their pets to regular appointments.

Group dog walks - £10 (1-2 hours):
Group walks are for friendly dogs ONLY and are limited to 4 dogs per walk for security purposes in keeping all dogs under control in a positive force free way groups. This price includes pick up and drop off service. Discounts for additional dogs from the same household available

1-2-1 dog walks - £10 (45minutes): Individual walks ONLY. Ideal for nervous and/or reactive dogs, elderly dogs and bitches who are in season.

Any positive force free training methods the owner is already using can be followed to ensure positive consistant training is in place.

Puppy pop ins - £8 (30 minutes):
- Prior to vaccinations being completed your puppy will have its food and water replenished (if needed), toilet break (clean up/replace puppy pads etc) PUPPY PADS TO BE PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER, basic enrichment, training games and constant love and attention throughout.
- After vaccinations puppy pop ins can include a 10-20 minute individual walk. This will be personalised based on your puppies age and until they are old enough to join in the fun on our group walks.

Enrichment Sessions - £8 (30 minutes): Providing fun games using food and toys with training; resulting in a mentally stimulated, happier, healthier and calmer dog. Enrichment reduces boredom and destruction in young, hyperactive dogs. Ideal for dogs with limited exercise, in season bitches and dogs that need extra stimulation.

Dog Sitting (Holiday pop ins) - prices range from £15 per day (45 minutes twice a day):
If your dog can be left alone overnight I can provide a pop in service twice a day. Your dogs water and food will be replenished, toilet breaks, garden will be cleaned after toileting, a 30 minute walk on each visit and they will receive lots of care, love, company and attention whilst you’re away.

Cat Sitting (Holiday pop ins) - £8 daily visit or £15 two daily visits (30 minutes per visit):
Cat pop ins include water and food replenishment, litter tray cleaning, providing them access to go inside or outside if they are outdoor cats as well as being provided with lots of care, love, company and attention whilst you’re away.

Small Animal Sitting (Holiday pop ins or home boarding) - £8 per visit/day:
Pop in visits or home boarding for small furries, reptiles, fish or birds (any animal can be catered for)
Your pet will be cleaned, food and water replenished and will be given all of the care and attention they require.



Previous Experience

For the last 3 years I have studied FdSc animal management and behaviour and BSc (hons) applied animal training and behaviour, during this time I have experienced a very wide range of animals carrying out husbandry tasks and training, dog walking was part of the role.
In addition, I have volunteered at a local rescue centre doing husbandry and dog walking work experience.
I have owned dogs all of my life and currently own a Siberian Husky and Border Collie. I have experience in walking a wide range of dogs.
