About Me/ Company

My name is Emily Webster, Im 22 years old and live in Standish, in Wigan. All my life I have had a love for dogs especially dogs, and for the last 4 years have been working as a dog groomer, which I have enjoyed. I am now looking for new challenges within the animal industry and have set up Paws to Smile, with the hope that I can be successful in doing something that I love. I am often out walking my field spaniel, and wish to offer that service to owners who may not have the time to give their dog the daily exercise it may need. I also think its a shame when people have to overlook getting a dog due to work commitments and not having enough time, whereas if you have someone trustworthy to walk them, you can enjoy the rewards of owning a dog. I also offer a pet sitting service, as I know myself the worry of leaving your dog in kennels and how it prevents you from relaxing completly when your on holiday. I would enjoy knowing that clients can have a nice time away, with peace of mind that their dog is in his familiar environment and getting the best care possible.

Previous Experience

I have worked in kennels for 18 months and have gained experience working with a range of different dog breeds and therefore will cater to any breed. Also, my recent dog grooming job enabled me to be confident in one on one dog handling, again with numerous different breeds.

I gained a National Diploma in Animal Management at Myerscough College.
Level 1 and 2 Certificate in Animal Care.
Level 2 Certificate of Competence in the Safe Use of Veterinary Medicines.
Prefessional Breed Standard Dog Grooming Certificate.
