About Me/ Company

Welcome to Paws Outdoors!

Let me tell you a little about Paws Outdoors. My name is Louise and I am the owner of Paws Outdoors. After working for more than 15 years within the animal industry I have gained a wealth of experience and decided to setup my own business.

Paws Outdoors will offer a bespoke one on one service, your animals will be loved and cared for as if they are my own. We look after your pets in the comfort of your own home.

We are fully insured with public liability & key cover and police DBS checked for your peace of mind.

We offer a variety of services at reasonable prices and all dog walks are taken place in the local area such as woodlands or the local beach, or the nearest park if your pooch would prefer this!

Previous Experience

I have worked with various species from the small and furry, through to the large and hooved. I have gained a large part of my knowledge and experience whilst working for the RSPCA starting out as an Animal Care Assistant and progressing to become a Supervisor. Prior to this I have worked with various types of horses in a riding school and in a stud yard with stallions and young foals.
I currently own two very cheeky cats and In the past I have owned rabbits and was brought up as a child with Border Collies and West Highland White Terriers.

We are based in Guisborough and we cover the following areas, Guisborough, Saltburn, Brotton, Skelton, Redcar, & Marske. If you do not fall in to any of these areas please contact me and I will be happy to discuss availability.

Other Services

Pop-in visits

This service is ideal for puppies, cats, small animals and nervous pets.
A 30 minute visit will provide:

Feeding
Watering
Cleaning of food bowls and littertrays
Any cages that may need cleaning
Fuss and lots of attention
Administration of medication

Microchipping

A tiny microchip about the size of a grain of rice is inserted under your pets skin at the back of the neck. If your pet becomes lost or stolen and is picked up by the dog warden or turns up at a shelter, the microchip can be scanned and matched to your contact details.
