About Me/ Company

Do you want someone you can trust to look after your beloved pet? Or do you feel guilty because long hours at work mean they aren't getting the attention they deserve?

Linsey & Mike set up Paws & Relax because we understand life isn't as straightforward as 9-5, neighbours can't always help out & even short term illness can impact on your ability to look after your pet.

Whether you want your dog taken on regular & varied walks, you're going away on holiday or you just have to work a late night, Paws & Relax can offer you a trusted solution for any pet, from large dog to small hamster. Our goal is to create a service that fits around your needs.

Previous Experience

First & foremost, Linsey is a pet lover having four cats of her own & extensive dog walking experience. Linsey has achieved both Level 2 National Certificate & Level 3 Advanced National Certificate in animal care. Amongst many skills gained, she is able to understand animal behaviour - important when walking dogs in public areas, NPTC Safe Use of Veterinary Medicine - enabling her to administer prescribed pet medicine & maintaining the health of animals including handling, feeding & first aid.

Linsey is DBS checked & is a member of the Pet Sitters Alliance - giving you the peace of mind that your pet is not just entrusted with anyone, but is with someone fully insured & who will treat your pet the way you would expect.

Mike has always been in a home with pets & is a big dog lover. Mike's mum & dad used to breed dogs for a living and he has helped care for puppies so has experience of walking a variety of dogs. When out walking, he understands that it must be a fun experience & incorporates a dogs favourite game to liven their day.

Mike is DBS checked & is currently undertaking a course in animal first aid to continue his development. He is also a member of the Pet Sitters Alliance which means you have the peace of mind that he is fully insured to look after your pet as well as knowing your pet will be treated like one of his own.
