About Me/ Company

Paws and more - the fully insured one stop pet care company is the ideal solution to keeping your pets happy, socialised, fit and healthy when you are unable to. Our aim is to help pet owners when they go on holiday, for when they're away for short breaks, those who can't get out as much as they would like and families with hectic schedules, who need a little extra help with their pets.

Paws and more is based in Poole, Dorset on the sunny south coast and is run by me (Karen Curtis). I am fully licensed under the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963 with the Borough of Poole to look after your pet, and also follow the DEFRA Code of Practice for the Welfare of Dogs, so you can be sure they'll be safe in my care.

I have experience of working in Kennels and Catteries, have owned many pets from a young age and I will go that extra mile to make sure all animals are living a comfortable, fulfilled and happy life - my love for animals is second to none.

I understand that pets are more than just animals and that they are just as important as any other family member, so I believe that it's important to give them a healthy, happy and contented life within the family unit. I also know that sometimes life gets in the way and sadly it's 'Fido' or 'Kitty' that suffers, through no fault of the owner and that's where I can help...

By offering a one stop pet care solution I can take care of your pet's needs when you can't and because I am flexible I can save you the hassle of shopping around for different services from several companies. I am more than just a Dog Walking company and offer so much more, whether you have a dog, cat, budgie, fish or rabbit as part of your family!

Before taking on a client I will arrange to visit you and your pet (free of charge) make sure we all get along, create a profile of your pet's needs, before quoting you a fair and realistic price.
