About Me/ Company

We are a Halesowen based pet care provider offering a range of services to keep your pets happy.

















We operate from just off Long Lane in Halesowen and cover Rowley Regis, Blackheath, Lapal, Halesowen, Hurst Green and surrounding areas. We also go out to the RSPCA centre in Frankley.

Our dog walking service offers stimulating exercise in local green spaces under the care of an experienced dog lover with a passion for pets. For older dogs it may be a home visit required just to let them out for toileting during the day. Puppies too can be visited for toilet breaks when required.

Our cat sitting service provides an excellent alternative to the cattery as cats can remain in comfy familiar surroundings whilst the humans go on holiday.




Another service proving popular is our Pet Taxi

This can be pre-booked to take your pet to and from local groomers or for routine visits to the vet. The service is available for dogs and cats but smaller animals can also be carried.
We cater for cats and dogs in the main but would consider helping with other animals if required. Our aim is to offer you as a pet owner, peace of mind in the knowledge that your pet is safe and extremely well cared for, in accordance with your exact requirements.

Previous Experience

Paws Alert is owned and run by me, Caroline.
I have been passionate about animals all my life and always longed to be working with animals full time.
Like many people I know, I was instead sucked into a working life far removed from where my real passion lay. Then a couple of personal tragedies led me to take stock and re-evaluate what I was doing and I decided that the time had to come to follow my dream and surround myself with animals.
I have over 30 years experience of owning and caring for dogs and cats, and various other pets as well as a selection of wildlife rescues and other domestic animal rescues to my record.
Springer Spaniels have been a favoured breed, demanding but with so much to give, and such characters !From my first meeting with Patch, my childhood springer friend, more than 40 years ago, the breed has figured heavily throughout my life.

Cats too are very much part of my life. I volunteer with Halesowen Cats Protection and currently have two cats. Maccie and Jess.
Sadly over the years I have dealt with, and gained a knowledge of Cushings Disease, Cruciate ligament recovery, doggie dementia, Insulinoma and various cancer related conditions.

Taking care of animals is just in me, Im one of those people. If there's an injured pigeon, fox or other critter, a lost dog or cat, you can guess who finds them.
In my role as a professional Pet carer you can be assured that whether out walking or within the home your pet will be looked after, treated like one of my own and given lots of fuss.
I love all animals, find them a little more rewarding than people in many cases and as the sign on our front door states....
