About Me/ Company

I am married and am more or less retired I have one grown up son who with his partner have come to stay with us as they have just started a veterinary franchise and are working long hours and saving for a deposit for their own home.
My working life was accountancy ANSI worked for myself for five years but due to the economic climate the works dried up and people were slow to pay their bills I did some temping work for a couple of years but that also dried up.
So we decided that we would get a couple of Labrador puppies as our old labrador had had to be put to sleep after fourteen and a half years as she was having convulsions, which was sad and so for the past two years I have been at home looking after them training them etc.
I meet up with my friends occasionally for lunch as they are all still working.
I can't get a job in accountancy unless I am prepared to travel quite a distance every day and the money isn't worth it. So I am at a loose end

Previous Experience

My experience of dogs has been the fact that I have owned a few over the years.
I have had five black labradors from puppies and have loved every one of them I am a very keen dog walker although my two are only around 20 months and are quite a handful they love to play with other dogs all the time.

My work experience has been book keeping and management accounts
The last company permanent and full time work was a building company but the banking problems of 2008 created a lot of problems and so I had to do some temporary assignments

Qualifications & Training

I don't have qualifications for working or walking dogs just masses of experience

My qualifications in accountancy are limited as I was thrown into that at the age of 19 and then always worked in that environment
Although I do have O and A levels but at 59 my knowledge is vast
Although I did have a qualification with Institute of credit Management.

Relevant Info

In my capacity has an accounting office manager I have had up to 27 staff working for me so I do think I can communicate with people too

For 10 years my husband and I had our own Freight Forwarding business which from a standing start to a million pound turnover business was quite impressive in the first couple of years sadly, my husband became seriously ill with cancer ( non Hodgkins Lymphoma ) and we lost everything.

I also gave up working full time to look after my invalid mother who has now died.

For five years from 2003 - 2008 I worked for myself to accommodate
Looking after my mother who was widowed.
She was a severely disabled lady and I partly became her career whilst overseeing other carers we employed.
