D4 (Dinky Doggy Day Dreams) has been set up to give your dog a fun and exciting holiday while you are enjoying your break away .I am fully insured and licensed with Chesterfield Borough Council also CRB Checked. As the licence holder I (Patricia) will look after your pet around the clock. My friend and next door neighbour (Gemma) also provides some care (and playtime!) some days or if I am held up. On the Forms page you will also see what a typical day consists of (this can be tailored to suit) although when we get to the park we are often there a couple of hours as we forget to come home.
Accommodation:
The environment I offer is as far removed from traditional kennel boarding as you can imagine.
All dogs have unlimited freedom of the house and supervised access to the whole of my garden. Your dog will only ever share my house and garden with my 4 Cavaliers, 2 Yorkies, 4 Cats and up to one other dog (unless you have two).
I allow your dog to sleep where it is used to sleeping in the house (If that means with me thats fine). I am happy to sleep downstairs with any dog showing signs of homesickness or to sit up with them until they get off to a good nights sleep.
Exercise: & Fun:
Exercise can be tailored to exactly what your dog is used to at home but my norm is to try and provide them with a real adventure holiday running through miles of open countryside and woodland, diving into brooks, getting wet & mucky etc. If you would like your dog to have a less energetic holiday please let me know when you come to see me and I can work out a much gentler programme for them.
I often go out for day trips and visit friends or friends visit me, and they have dogs too. Where I go yours will come too, (please inform me if this is not acceptable) they will get spoilt rotten and I will aim to return them too you as clean as is doggily possible so if you use a special shampoo please bring some with you otherwise I will use Animology care products.
