About Me/ Company
Packleaders – dog walkers in Stevenage & Knebworth provide a professional dog walking service, helping owners provide the best possible care for their much-loved dog. Every dog owner will be aware their dog’s well-being depends on regular, stimulating dog walks. Without regular exercise, dogs become lethargic, overweight, antisocial and destructive. Dog walks are essential for their well-being.
Dogs give a huge amount to humans. Your returning home is the highlight of their day and how wonderful is it to have someone in your life who is overjoyed to see you? Your dog loves you unconditionally, providing companionship, amusement, protection and more. Stroking your dog reduces blood pressure, helps you live longer and releases ‘feel good’ hormones. Your dog is good for your soul and helps you live longer!
Dogs only ask for shelter, regular feeding and regular exercise. However, dog owners live in an increasingly hectic world with ever more demanding schedules. Finding time for dog walking is increasingly difficult, despite dogs desperately needing it for their physical and mental well-being. If you can’t find time to properly exercise your dog, please contact us. Packleaders Dog Walkers in Stevenage and Knebworth will ease your burden and make your life easier.
Do you commute to work and want your dog to have a one hour treat with stimulating exercise and company to break up its day? Or, do you have a busy schedule that makes dog walking difficult? Is it physically difficult for you to give your dog the exercise it’s mind and body needs? Packleaders would love to help!
Packleaders, Brian & Lynn Moore, are hugely experienced, trustworthy, reliable and caring dog walkers in Stevenage & Knebworth. They will give your dog the exercise it craves and needs. Mature, fit, lifelong dog lovers, they will care for your pet as if it is their own. Your dog will be collected from home and returned home, dried if wet and given a post-walk treat if required. Its water bowl will be refreshed and it will be settled before departure.
Regularly taking part in a group dog walk is better for your dog than solo walks. Three or four dogs provide each other with better physical exercise, increased mental stimulation and improved social skills. Owners benefit by having a more relaxed, healthier, happier dog that is less inclined to be destructive and has better social skills
Fully insured with DBS (CRB) checks, Packleaders will walk your dog either off-lead or on-lead, whichever is preferred. They use a variety of the superb dog walking routes around Stevenage and Knebworth, providing exercise that is vital to a dog’s health, happiness and well-being. Previous Experience
Lifelong dog lovers, Brian & Lynn Moore, are hugely experienced dog walkers in Stevenage & Knebworth. They can cope capably with every kind of dog, from impossibly cute Shih Tzus to large, boisterous Dalmations. Both had dogs and dog walking duties throughout childhood, plus a variety of dogs during their married life. As a result, numerous friends and family ask them to look after their dogs when they are away on holiday. This means often having to walk three, four or more dogs at once.
These experiences clearly demonstrated the benefits dogs receive from being walked in a group. For dogs, a group walk is more mentally stimulating, more physically rewarding and more socially satisfying. It is self-evident to Brian and Lynn that dogs are more relaxed, more sociable and better behaved after group walks than when walked solo. However, when dogs are part of a group, they do need guidance to curb occasionally over-enthusiastic behaviour. Hence, the requirement for a dog-loving ‘packleader’ with a good understanding of dogs.
Fit, strong, capable, regular tennis players, Brian and Lynn, have the physical and mental attributes to ensure your dog is properly exercised. In addition, they have the knowledge and experience of dogs to diligently care for them. Applying their decades of experience, ensures each dogs in their care gets the maximum possible benefit from the group walking experience. Group walks are more enjoyable and satisfying for dogs when allowed off-lead. However, insurance requirements mean the written permission of the dog owner is required before a dog can be exercised that way. It is not a problem, however, if an owner prefers their dog to be walked on-lead.
Brian and Lynn will care for your much-loved dog as if it is their own, ensuring it is integrated into the group and feels as if it belongs. Featured below are just some of the wonderful dogs it has been our pleasure to care for and walk. We would love to add your dog to our ‘pack’, even if only ‘temporarily’ for an hour or so each day.
