Hello, I am a 52 year old dog owner, have had dogs since I was born, I am a sighthound owner.

Previous Experience

I believe that a dog needs lots of exercise to be happy and that if I am walking a dog for someone I want that person to come home from work to a dog tht does not need another walk, who has had a long, fulfilling and happy walk. I cannot bear to see a dog being taken for a short walk on a lead. Dogs have four legs and need to use them.

Qualifications & Training

I have worked in animal rescue and for animal welfare organisations. I believe I have a good raport with dogs and have a lot of patience and understanding with regards to dogs. I have a rescue afghan hound who is learning to be a dog, she would not come back to me at first but after only being met with love and affection for a few weeks now heads back enthusiastically after each call.

Other Services

I am happy to look after your dog in my home or to look after a dog in the owner's home. Dogs in my home live as one of the family, they sleep wherever they feel most comfortable (usually on a bed with one of us). They are fed twice a day with food avaiable between meals if peckish, all gets lots of exercise and company.
