About Me/ Company

Natalie started her dog training journey at a young age, when she taught her Nan's dog to sit. From then on, she became fascinated by animals; how they learn, why do they want to have relationships with us, how can we enrich their lives and so on. Natalie decided she wanted to be a vet - to help all animals.


At the age of 15, Natalie took part in some work experience with a local vet clinic. During the week she was there, several dogs were euthanised due to preventable, manageable and maybe even curable behavioural problems. She wondered if help had been available to the owners of these dogs, would they still have chosen to euthanise? Natalie started volunteering in rescue centres, walking dogs for friends and family and even started using some classical conditioning techniques she learned in a Psychology lesson. She has read a million books, articles, worked with dog trainers and vets, attended seminars and completed certified courses to educate herself in canine cognition, behaviour and training, physical and mental development and so on.


9 years later, in 2014, Natalie brought all of her experience to Oh My Dog Training, where her goal is to prevent the unnecessary euthanisation or rehoming of as many companion dogs as possible. Natalie is proud to have developed her own simple, yet effective, HANDS OFF approach to dog training. This means NO choke chains, NO physical punishment, NO shock collars, NO prong collars, NO spray collars, NO leash jerking, NO rubbish about pack leaders and dominance. ALL fun and games for you and your dog. We believe this is the best way to learn and we are delivering great results for dogs in Cheshire, Wirral and Flintshire every time.


Natalie's light hearted approach to dog training and general down to Earth attitude have won her the affection of dog owners across Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales, all of which recommend her whole heartedly to friends and family. Natalie is an enthusiastic advocate of force free, dog friendly dog training and will never recommend, encourage or endorse any method in which she feels causes pain, intimidation or fear in the dogs she is working with,
Natalie is the ONLY member of the Association of Force Free Professionals in Wirral, Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales. This means she is the only dog trainer across these areas who has promised to abide by a strict code of conduct and ethics, and has promised to remain force free in her methods.
