About Me/ Company

With more than 10 years' experience in the Dog Walking and Petsitting industry, Northampton Pet Services provides high quality dog walking, home boarding, day care and pet sitting services to clients throughout the local area.

We offer a caring, professional service and take our responsibility for your pets very seriously. We are fully insured, police checked, have successfully completed an animal first aid course and only use responsible adults to care for your pets.

If you're like us, your pets have become family members. When you can't be at home for them due to work, holiday or other obligations, you want them to be taken care of with the same love and attention you give them.

I live in the Abington area of Northampton with my partner Mark, daughter Holly, two dogs (Meg an English Pointer and Lulu a Dachs/Chihuahua cross) and two cats! I've always loved animals and from a very early age tried to "rescue" every cat that dared to walk through our garden.

I grew up with a gorgeous Golden Retriever and a friendly (on her own terms) cat with attitude. Having Northampton Pet Services lets me indulge my passion for animals and I couldn't be happier!

Previous Experience

We ensure that there is cover available all year round so that we don’t have to let you down during staff holidays, illness, etc.

We recognise the importance of routine and stability for your pet so only use carers that they are familiar with. We are happy for you to meet our carers too, we are positive you will love them as much as your pet will!

We DO NOT have any hidden charges! There are no registration or membership fees. The prices you see are the prices you pay. We are upfront and honest with everything we do.

We take the security of your home seriously. Client keys are held at a secure location when not in use. We DO NOT mark them with home addresses or names.

We are experienced in working with rescue dogs and those who have socialisation issues. We have successfully integrated many dogs into our small group walks by recognising the importance of building trust and tackling the underlying issues with behavioural work. The reward for Northampton Pet Services is seeing a once nervous and aggressive dog playing happily with their new friends, and the delight of the owner who can now enjoy walks with their best friend without fearing bumping into another dog along the way!

Qualifications & Training

We are all fully Police Checked and have successfully completed an Animal First Aid course with Animal Aiders.

Nicola is also successfully completed a Microchipping course.
