About Me/ Company

I have been walking and looking after dogs since I can remember! Our family dog was a German Shepard and as the youngest in the family I was always left with the job of looking after and walking her! As I got a little older I began walking dogs for people around the neighbourhood. I am a student studying my Master in Speech Science. I am going into my final year which is largely dedicated to planning/writing up our thesis- so studying is done on my own schedule. I am hoping to find a few more fluffies or grizzlies to spend my time with throughout the day!

Previous Experience

I was a foster carer for Victorian Dog Rescue (in Melbourne) for two years when I lived in Australia. During this time I fostered countless dogs from huge Bull Arabs (a large Aussie hunting dog) to Border Collie's and smaller house dogs such as Poodles, Cockapoos, Blue Heelers and Beagles. As rescued dogs, a number of them had difficult behaviours and very different personalities. The average stay with me was three months before they were adopted by a full-time carer. In this time regular walks, training, feeding, cleaning and love was essential!

Since coming back to the UK a year ago I have been dog walking and sitting for families who have busy schedules and require a little extra help!

Qualifications & Training

I am CRB checked and due to my uni course I am also registered to work with children (which may offer a little extra comfort when trusting your dog with a stranger!). I understand how imperative it is to find someone whom you can trust to be responsible and caring with your dog, but I can guarantee that I am!

I currently have a number of references that recognise my character profile. I have a good relationship with all of the owners and organisations with which I have cared for dogs, so I am a able to get references from them if required.
