I retired in October 2012
I enjoy walking, fishing, metal detecting, playing bowls, and reading.
Previous Experience
In the past I have had two long haired german sheperds
(we lost Neka last year.)
I had my first german sheperd Max as a pup.
My second was Neka who was a rescue and he was about nine months to twelve months old when I got him.
It was difficult to tell his age as he had been half starved and beaten from being a pup. After a lot of hard work he turned out to be a gentle dog and was good with all other dogs, children, and with everyone he met.
During the lifetime of our dogs they shared the house with three cats (sadly all departed now.)
