About Me/ Company

I volunteer as an animal carer for an animal rescue charity known as' Riverside Animal Centre'.
The animals that end up at 'Riverside' have been abused, abandoned, badly trained and mistreated.
It is my responsibility to rehabilitate and care for these animals, providing support, therapy, comfort and companionship. I take the rescue dogs out for regular walks, practice consistent obedience training and occasional play.
These dogs deserve the opportunity to become valued members of society and they should be living in good homes with good owners.

I am also an owner a dog, the dog is a Malinois (Belgium Shepherd), an intelligent, determined and high energy breed of dog. I chose this breed because of it's intelligence, awareness, agility and it's easy going sociable behaviour with other dogs. Having my own dog has enhanced my knowledge and experience with leadership and dominance, the dog needs to know who it's master is and who is the leader of the pack.

I enjoy working with dogs because they are reflections of us humans, humans transfer energy and the dogs reflect this energy. When we our angry or upset, dogs pick up this energy and see it as weakness, when we are hyper and joyful, dogs absorb this energy and become hyper themselves. So with these factors humans and dogs form great bonds, learning to understand and respect one another.
