About Me/ Company

Hello there and welcome to Muddy Paws of Finchley we are a very small family business offering a friendly professional dog walking and pet care service. We only ever walk a MAXIMUM OF FOUR DOGS EACH as we realize the importance of your dog's safety, health and well-being and We want to ensure that your dog really enjoys 'their' time at the Heath.

At Muddy Paw of Finchley we will do everything we can to make sure your dog, cat or other pet is cared for and loved as if he/she were a member of our own family.

Our dogs have over an hour long walk (actually on the Heath) filled with fun, plenty of exercise, games, a little basic obedience practice e.g. sit, down, stay and rewards.
We offer morning and afternoon walks. Transport to and from the
Heath is provided.

We are a fully insured Pet Care company and police checked for your peace of mind. At Muddy Paws of Finchley we pride ourselves on providing our clients with the highest possible level of service, reliability, honesty and confidentiality as we understand that you are trusting us not only with your most beloved pet but also your
home.

Previous Experience

We have over twenty years experience of walking dogs on the
wonderful Hampstead Heath.

Both myself, Carole and Siobhan, own Golden Retrievers. Our dogs are friendly, calm and good natured and enjoy walking with other
dogs.

We have attended training classes for many years, from puppy training, right up to advanced training and agility.

I have experience with and am happy to work with puppies on basic puppy training, recall training, socialization or just to give advice/help to get ready for when you bring your puppy home for the first time.

Qualifications & Training

We have always enjoyed living and working with animals, there was not a time when we didn't have at least one cat or dog at home.
Carole - I was lucky enough to spend a number of years living and working on a beautiful dairy farm in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. We had a herd of 150 frisian cows and the most brilliant sheepdog, Moss, who herded the cows amazingly.
I own Tisker, a lovely eleven year old golden retriever and seven years ago Tisker had a litter of eight gorgeous puppies, one we kept, Ballou, a lovely soft boy. I have remained great friends with the owners of Tisker's puppies and was able to help and advise them on the care for their puppies and start them on their initial basic obedience training. I have offered both dog walking and some of the puppies come back home each year to stay for their holidays.
Siobhan - I live with my three teenage sons and our nine year old Golden Retriever, Maisy. Up until recently we also shared our home with our eleven year old cat, Daisy. I have always loved animals and especially dogs and have walked on Hampstead Heath and Mill Hill for many years and know from experience just how much the dogs love these amazing spaces that give them such freedom and fun.
