About Me/ Company

Hello,

My name's Michelle.

I have worked with Animals for over 7years, I started my carer working in a cattery. I now work in a veterinary practice as a veterinary care assistant.

I Love my Job and I am very lucky to have the privilege of such a rewarding job.

I do work full time but my shifts are flexible at times so in my spare time would like to offer my services to a pet owner that needs someone who loves and care's for animals to look after there pet.

Previous Experience

Worked in a Animal Charity for 2years. 2001-2003.

Job included:

Cleaning and feeding of cats and dogs.

Walking of dogs, training(if needed) and finding suitable homes.

Now work in a Veterinary Practice, worked there since 2004- present

Job involves:

Assisting Veterinary Nurses in administering medication to sick animals.

Cleaning of Kennels and Building

Advising owners on the best way to look after there pets, ie; to make sure pet gets up to date vaccines's, worming and flea treatment.

My Vet Practice isn't a re-homing place but on occasion we do get stray animals brought in, in this case be it a dog I would take the dog for long walks around the park near to my practice, feed and water it until an alternative home can be arranged.

I have also owned dogs myself, grew up with them in fact, so have dog ownership experience.
