About Me/ Company

My name is Mel and I am 25.
I have always had a passion for dogs (and to be honest most animals!) And we always had at least one in the family home. I have quite a keen interest in rehoming dogs, especially ones with behavioural problems as I feel the rewards are incredible.
Since losing my last dog "Leo" to bone cancer I have moved down to Kent to live with my boyfriend and to train as a veterinary nurse and unfortunately cannot have a dog where I live at the moment.
I work different shifts everyday but would generally be available to either 'pop in' to let your dog out for a wee and to stretch their legs, or even to take them for an hour's walk if necessary.
I hope I may be able to help you out and work around you and your dog's needs.

Previous Experience

In the past I have been a dog sitter for a number of dogs, all with incredibly different needs, including medical.
Generally when I return to my parents house I pick up a friends dog who comes to stay with us for the weekend to give her time with her young daughter. I have now created a strong bond with "Dudley" and we take lovely long walks with my friends and their dogs.
I am also very keen on teaching basic commands and training and have helped a few families struggling with a few issues. I closely follow the trainer Victoria Stilwell and like to use her methods with my training.
