About Me/ Company

Hiya, I'm Mel. I am a student going to sixth form now, I haven't got a clear idea of what I want to be but I'd really love whatever it is, to be work with animals and I thought it would be good to start working. I have always really loved animals, all animals, birds and bugs (except flies), my family moved to Cyprus when I was about six and there I had lots of pets, I don't have any pets at the moment because I live in a flat and my parents have never been too keen on them. I have been having what can only be described as withdrawal symptoms from animals for the past few years and I'm that person that stares at dogs longingly while they walk past on the street. I've been badgering my parents for mice or ferrets for months now and I think I'm getting through to the them but if I get them I'll need to pay for their expenses. so I thought that it would be great to become a dog walker. I could be around dogs and I would be able to say I'm sort of working.

Previous Experience

In Cyprus I had eleven dogs (all rescued from shelters), amongst many other pets ranging from iguanas to chicken. One cocker spaniel (Leo), nine huskies (too many to name) and a Cypriot poodle (Lucy). I have also looked after my friends and neighbours dogs before many times, mostly greyhounds and Labrador's.

Qualifications & Training

I have no real qualifications but I worked at a pet grooming salon for work experience (mostly dogs but we did have a few cats come in).
