About Me/ Company

My name is Megan, I'm 22 years of age and live in North London. I am currently studying a Work based level 2 Animal Care course at The Mayhew Animal Home.

I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to walk.
I currently walk one dog on a Mon/Wed from 11:30am-12:30pm.

I charge £10+ depending on how far I have to travel (I use public transport) and how long you would like me to walk your dog(s) for.

Previous Experience

I volunteered for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association training an 8 week old male Labrador Retriever puppy up until he was 13 months old. He lived with me, so I house trained him (which he learnt within 2 weeks), taught him over 20 commands and he had brilliant recall. I also socialised him with as many animals/people/places/transport as possible. He is now a fully qualified guide dog and I am extremely proud of him and myself. It required a lot of patience and hard work but it was worth every second.

I have also been walking/sitting 10 other guide dogs in training as and when required for the past 2 years.

Qualifications & Training

Currently studying a WORKBASED LEVEL 2 ANIMAL CARE COURSE (working with different breeds of dogs which have been mistreated, abandoned etc, including yorkshire terriers, bishon frise, staffordshire bull terriers, huskies, jack russell's, german shepherd's, collies, labradors etc)

Successfully trained a guide dog puppy who is now fully qualified.

Walking a Bishon Frise (can get a recommendation upon request)
