About Me/ Company
I have 2 labradors and I am currently studying to be a dog phsycologist. I have a great love and respect for all dogs and I also help with behaviour issues you may have at no extra charged. I need some help in my training. I have currently been made redundant and decided to re-train. I would love the opportunity to have some more loyal clients to spread the word.
I have a van, and carry with me towels, water and treats (should the dogs be allowed) I always put the dogs back dry and clean, as I would expect myself. I always leave plenty of fresh water and whatever the dog might need.
My rates are negociable depending on how far I need to travel, unfortunately the cost of fuel is not going down but I am open to that discussion as if this is regular business, and I can walk more than one dog in an area, then ask your friends and neighbours to get a little pack together and I can do this much cheaper.
Previous Experience
only my only previous 4 dogs and the 2 i currently live with! I have a customer with 5 labs and 6 cats and i often walk them or house sit whilst they are on holiday, the expense of kennels can be much more than my charges and we have a trusting relationship now so i often take my own dogs with me too. I have helped many of my friends walk their dogs and help with bad behaviour, I have done this free of charge till now, as I now believe I can make a succesful business of my people and dogs skills!!
Qualifications & Training
i have no official qualifications apart from a passion for dogs and cats, I know dogs, what they need to become a great and loyal pet. I do believe in discipline, as without it bad and unwanted behaviours can appear from a very young age. I have rescued 2 dogs in the past, each with un-sociable behaviour. My chocolate lab was a rescue, I have had him 3 years now, and he was 3 when I re-homed him. He was some work, as the owner labelled him dog aggresive, but he was mearely mis-understood. the value of having someone who is calm, and assertive is a great combination to get the right results for your pet.
I only walk my dogs with dogs who are friendly and understand rules!
I can and am able to help owners with any issues, but they in turn must be willing to change their own behaviour too as the owners can often be to blame, without realising it.
