Hi,
My name is Mathew Fitton and I live in Somerton, Somerset. I am 46 years old and am fit and able bodied (and love dogs of course!)
I have worked with a few different companies but through no fault of my own keep hitting redundancy. So now I'm looking to earn a small living doing what I've always enjoyed doing - walking dogs!
As a family we grew up with a large boisterous Airedale who would pin you to the fence and lick you to death when you got home from school! But my favourite dog friend was our next family dog - Ben. He was a Heinz 57 black and white short haired kind of labrador cross, I think. When we first had him he curled up underneath one of our kitchen chairs and wouldn't come out! But after a few days we became firm buddies and went everywhere together. Sadly, by the time he died we had moved home and had cats, so didn't feel it was fair to get another dog, and I still miss him terribly.
However my sister has two dogs which I walk regularly for her - it was her idea that I should try doing this for a living as she says I'm really good at it! So, that's about it really- apart from saying that of course I'm insured, and have a CRB police clearance document to reassure you that I'm trustworthy and safe to let out with your precious friend! I have transport so can travel to you for free providing you're not too far away (say 25 mile radius of Somerton), but if you can cover my mileage (50p per mile) I would be happy to go further afield if that would help you out.
