About Me/ Company

Hi there, my name is Mary and I am passionate about animals!

I am based in Bristol and have been caring for animals all of my working life.

My working week is very flexible and my rates vary depending on the service required.

Unfortunately because of my own pets I cannot board/sit for cats or dogs at my own house, but for anything smaller than a rabbit please get in touch!

I have my own car and a full UK driving license.

Previous Experience

Probably more than I can remember!

I have lots of practical husbandry experience with the typical pet species, as well as some of the not so typical pets including exotic fish, reptiles, tarantulas, aviary birds, poultry and ferrets.

I am trained in Animal First Aid and have a good knowledge of all the local vet surgeries.

In the past I have worked for Kennels, catteries, rehoming centres, Veterinary Surgeries and as a self-employed animal carer.

My last employed job was as a Big Cat Warden for Longleat, looking after lions, tigers, cheetahs and wolves.

Other Services

For those needing animal care whilst they are away from home, I provide house sitting free of charge. This includes turning lights on and off, moving post from the door, opening closing curatins, watering plants, feeding fish, ensuring the fridge and freezer are still on, basically making it look like someones in the house.
Also, I am happy to pop a few fresh things in the fridge/cupboards for when you get back.

If you're interested, I have also provided house cleaning in the past. There would be an additional cost for this service.
