About Me/ Company

Hello, My name is Martina. Despite being a human health professional for 27 years, my most enjoyable work has been between jobs exploring new ideas, during which I found myself dog sitting and dog walking on frequent occasions to support myself but also doing something I love, coming from a family Veterinary Nursing background. I was fortunate enough to be able to return to all the families of all my new canine friends when holidays came around, but would really love to develop this further. I have broad experience of looking after a range of different breeds of dogs and am keen to get started again , as my job as Volunteer Coordinator with a charity is about to finish come the end of June due to redundancy ! It's a sign of the times. So .....it's time for walkies again and to renew old furry friendships. Please help me by helping you take care of your dog and to share a hearty stroll. I live near the Kent coast in Deal, ideal for walking and previously worked for Happy Pets dog walking / dog sitting service , SEE PHOTOS.

Previous Experience

Working with "Happy pets", Kent based Dog Walking, House Sitting Service gave me plenty of experience and TLC . SEE PHOTO GALLERY. As you can see I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent getting to know the dogs in my care and we certainly had lots of Fun , walks and cuddles .


Veterinary background. Mother was a Veterinary Nurse in Dublin way back, and father was a founder member of the Blue Cross .Mother a Veterinary Nurse for 10 years, now retired librarian. Grew up with a love of all animals, a genuine respect and interest in their well being and safety. I have No fancy animal qualifications.Lots of common sense and a keen interest in dog behaviour and training. Qualified SRN, in Adult nursing.
