Hello,
I’m a middle aged mother, grandmother and retired City lawyer who lives in Islington but is happy to walk your dog ( or a pair of dogs) or sit with them in North London as required . I will house sit your pets anywhere in the country for weekends or on holiday provided travelling expenses are paid.
Previous Experience
lawyer. I am experienced with dogs having adopted a nervous 7 year old former stray Labrador/Collie cross from the RSPCA who with time became a loving and settled family dog. He lived until he was 14 and I still miss him. I also looked after an energetic golden retriever for strangers for 6 months. He was in transit from Indonesia to Brisbane and I volunteered to look after him in Singapore where I was living as an expat so he would not have to spend the time in quarantine while waiting to enter Australia. I am still friends with his Australian owners who I met through doing this.
I treat dogs with kindness and follow the advice in dealing with them suggested by Jan Fennell, ‘the dog listener. ‘ These worked well with both the dogs I refer to above.
