About Me/ Company

Hello - My name is Lynne, I am an artist who has always had an affinity with animals. I used to have a beautiful dog that I rescued from a cruel owner. He lived the happy life that he deserved until he was twenty...he was determined to stick around for as long as possible! One of my cats also made it to the ripe old age of twenty-one!
I have always had cats because so many have found their way into my home through people who know I'm a big softie...I find it difficult to turn them away.
I am a happy, caring, friendly mum of a lovely boy who is now at university.
I have worked with children at my sons junior school, on a voluntary basis, so I am CRB checked.
I have my own car with a full, clean driving license of more than thirty years.
I was trying to make a living as a self employed artist, but it is a bit of a struggle at times and I felt the need for a change, so I thought I would put my many years of experience caring for animals to good use...being in the company of animals makes me very happy.
I am mainly an abstract artist, but I have previously had commissions for animal portraits and it is something I intend to concentrate on again at some point.

Previous Experience

Many years of experience caring for animals.
I have had pets all my life and some have lived to a ripe old age. Others have been rescued with existing health problems and they lived out their days with me, feeling safe, content, loved, respected and cared for.
I have administered medication to my own animals and friends elderly pets when they have been on holiday. I help an elderly lady I garden for with vet visits for her cat, applying flea treatment and anything else that is needed.
I am CRB checked.

An update......Through DogWalkingNow I have the most adorable cheeky little Border Terrier to walk four days a week and I am loving it! She's an absolute delight and I always look forward to seeing her eager little face ready for her run in the park!
Another update.....I now have a wonderful seven year old Lab who has joined us on our walks. Both dogs look forward to seeing each other, it's a joy to watch them run together......happy days!
Update 2016....I walk some gorgeous doggies on a regular basis who are so excited to see each other every day! Doggies owners are gorgeous too! They are very happy with my services and would always be glad to provide references or have a chat with you.

Not relevant for dog walking, but I have a BA (Hons) Art and Design.

Relevant Info

I will make sure your dogs are dry and comfortable when back home and feed if necessary.
I am flexible and can do more than one visit with the same dog in one day, if local.

I can feed your pets at your home while you are away and water your plants.
I will take any pets to the vets for you in my car.
