About Me/ Company

My name is Luke Wheldon, I’m passionate about animals and see it as a privilege to be working with them. I pride myself on providing exceptional and professional pet sitting services to the four-legged locals of West and South West London.

My aim is to make your life easier by helping you take care of your best friend. Building trust with your pet is paramount and as it’s only me you’ll have peace of mind your companion will truly benefit from our relationship.

I am committed to delivering outstanding services you can rely on at affordable prices. Feel free to book your complimentary consultation at your convenience, so we may meet to discuss you and your pet’s individual needs. I am available Monday to Friday and weekends upon request. I don’t have set times, so I can work around your schedule.

Previous Experience

Vetted by the well-known Battersea Dogs & Cats Home I have been trained in animal behaviour and welfare by the professionals and have gained years of experience with many breeds. I have found it highly rewarding volunteering my time and energy to the residents at Battersea, providing them with the mental and physical stimulation they require whilst waiting to be re-homed. Fully insured and CRB checked I always practice effective positive reinforcement techniques and use encouragement reward based training delivered in a calm and assertive manner.

Dog Jogging
Perhaps your dog would benefit from more exercise? Certain breeds naturally have more energy and require greater physical and mental stimulation. Wouldn’t it be great if your dog was calmer when you got home? I jog at a pace that is appropriate for your dog to get their heart rate up and help burn their extra weight or energy.

Puppy Care
Need a helping hand for the new addition to your family? There are special rates for puppies. Most little ones won't be able to go outside until they’re about four months old, when they’ve have had all their shots. Even so puppies still require lots of attention, a young pup may have trouble going six hours without a trip outdoors and will need a midday feed. Since our tiny friends can't walk or mingle with other dogs just yet, there is a different plan on offer. I can come to your home to give bathroom breaks of 10 minutes then spend another 20 minutes playing with your puppy indoors, how many times a day is up to you. There are special rates for puppies so please contact Luke Dog Walker directly to discuss your requirements.

Pet Chaperone
We all have busy lives even our pets too! If your loved one needs to keep an important engagement when you’re not there let me escort them door to door for you. Perhaps its a visit to the Vets or Groomers or maybe to a friends house for a social call. Picks up from home, the workplace, the gym, school run or wherever! When booking please ensure enough time for our arrival to make appointments as we’ll be on foot. Should the destination be on our way during a walk the charge will be waived!

Special Requests
Dog not well and you want an update, a bandage rewrapped or medication given? The answer is ‘yes’ I can take care of it. If you worry about your little loved one whilst on holiday or at work I can send you picture messages so you can see they’re happy and healthy! My hours are flexible and I can usually assist at late notice. If you have last minute plans, working late or simply don’t feel like going out because its raining cats and dogs; feel free to give me a call and I will do my best to help you out.
