About Me/ Company

Hi everyone Lu Dog Walking is a solo Dog Walking and Sitting company ran by just myself. I am a lover of dogs and being an owner of an American Bully taught me the importance of ensuring dogs are mentally stimulated, exercised and socialised to ensure the best behaviour. I am comfortable doing little bits of training and show kindness and love to all dogs although I also understand the importance of being firm when needed. I live on my own and can take dogs for holiday stays ensuring they have a fantastic time while you can peacefully enjoy your holiday. I also do drop ins where I will visit a dog for walks or company whilst owners are out for the day. I do park walks, field walks, secured field sessions and residential walks for up to two dogs at a time. I also offer one meet and one trial walk free for charge before working with any dog.

Previous Experience

- I have experience fostering abandoned dogs for periods of up to four weeks. These have all been bully breeds sadly due to the increase of them being abandoned these past few years. I have fostered four American bullys, one Staff, and a pocket bully. During their stays I have changed their diet assisting to their needs, taken them to the vets for treatment or check ups, carried out in door and outdoor training and taken them to secured fields when reactive. I walk them three times a day and have had to teach some to walk on the lead.

- I regularly walk and do check ins for a one year old cavapoo which entails picking him up and taking him to the park for an off lead walk or taking him on leaded residential walks. I often taken him to the cafe for a doggy ice cream and also take him to my house for the day for cuddles and playtime and will walk him twice within this period.

- I regularly walk an American Bully who is very excitable therefore stays on a lead as this is the owners wish. I also have her at my house to stay when her owners go on holiday.

- I walk an English Bulldog who required just fifteen minute walks as he is 13 years old. I will stay for cuddles after his walks so he has a bit of company for a while when his family are out all day.

None, all my experience is hands on from not only owning dogs but regularly looking after new dogs who warm to me very quickly.
