About Me/ Company

Hi, I have just moved down to Mere in Wiltshire. I love all animals especially dogs and seem to have an affinity with them as well as horses (they were my first best friends in life). I have been discovering the landscape in Wiltshire and just thought how nice it would be to have a dog for company, i am not in a position to have my own dog again just yet due to just moving down and setting up a Dairy so i need to settle first. I don't really want to make any money doing this as its the company i seek and a walking companion.

Previous Experience

I have had the pleasurable company of Brindle Boston Terriers, Cross Boxer/Staff (my aunt's dog who i used to walk 3-4 days a week, taking her swimming with the ducks when i lived in Reading), Husky, labrador, Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, Patterdale and a Pug. They have all been family and friends dogs who i have either been trusted to look after whilst the owners are away or simply taken for walks. I am now best friends with a Sheep dog on Coldcot farm in Stourhead but its a working dog so not much chance to walk her so here i am.

Qualifications & Training

Life long dog walker and lover. I do know a lot about approaching a dog, giving positive appraisal, some training etc but have never been official trained or qualified. I just seem to get on with the lovely creatures.

Other Services

I can not commit to a 7 day walking regime but i can certainly do a few walks a week (generally early evening or weekends long walks). I rent a room for now so sitting is not possible but if i get on with the owner and they can see how well i get on with their dog then i'm not opposed to sitting the dog at the owners house.
