About Me/ Company

About Chloe Pearson (Owner of Lottie's Lodge)

As a child I would find frogs and snails in my garden and keep them as pets for the rest of the day, as I grew up and became more responsible, lots of pets came in and out of my life including fish, rabbits, hamsters and a dog - Lottie, all of which have helped to build up my passion for animals.
In 2011 I began my degree in Animal Studies, it was during this degree I was able to expose myself to numerous area's of the animal sector. I was lucky enough to volunteer at The Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay for 18 months, under-go work experience in a wildlife rescue and zoo in Cumbria and eventually gain my first animal based job as a Veterinary Auxilliary Nurse for Celyn Vet group.
I worked at Celyn Vets for a year and a half and took some time out to live and travel in Australia. It was my time here that inspired me to set up Lottie's Lodge. I worked in a dog daycare and groomers for 6 months which enabled me to see a different and very enjoyable side to pet care. When I returned back to the UK after the most amazing, challenging and unforgettable 15 months of my life, I was lucky enough to re-gain my job at Celyn Vets. However after a few months of being back, I took the lengthy decision to resign. This was so I could pursue my new ambition while still making use of my knowledge and experiences gained from working at the vets to care for animals through Lottie's Lodge

About Lottie's Lodge
We offer a flexible and reliable dog walking service across North Wales and Chester. To make sure that we can meet the demands of your work (or social) commitments we operate between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm. We can also offer weekend walks (subject to availability) for those who have to work such hours.

Individual Walks
As standard our individual dog walks will last one hour unless otherwise requested, during this time we will pick-up and drop-off your dog, while ensuring a minimum of 45 minutes is spent walking. We will take your dog to areas local to you, this can be an area your dog normally walks, or a new area they can sniff-out and enjoy. All dogs will receive a free introductory ‘meet and greet’ to make sure they (and you) are happy. We know many homes have more than one dog that require walking, any additional dogs can join the indidual walk for one hour or can be booked onto our group walks...
If your dog has any issues while walking, in particular pulling on the lead or rusty re-call, we can include some basic training during their walk to help ease them out of any bad habits.

Group Walks
We understand the need to socialise, as humans we do it on a daily basis, however this is something many dogs don't always get to enjoy. Group walks enable your dog to make new friends on a regular basis while having lots of fun exercising, sniffing, playing and pooping! Our group walks last 2 hours including driving to and from location with a minimum of 1 hour 45 minutes spent walking. Pick-up and drop-off will take place outside of this time. Locations for walks can include beaches, rivers, forests, playing fields and nature reserves in the areas local to the dogs. We have a 4 dogs per walker policy to ensure there is full supervision and care of the dogs on the walk.

Pick-up and drop-off is included in all walks if required. All vehicles are fully-insured and include dog seatbelts to ensure maximum safety of the dogs during transportation.

Pet Visits
People's busy lives can sometimes mean that their dog-life blance (or pet-life balance) can become disrupted. We at Lottie's Lodge want to help devoted pet owners keep their animals cared for while they go about their daily-business, giving them peace of mind that their pet's are healthy, safe and above all happy. We will pop in twice a day to feed and water your pet as well as letting them out for the toilet or for a walk and of course give them lots of cuddles if that is what they require!

Lots of photo's and videos will be taken of your pets during their walk or visit, these will then be uploaded to our social media pages so you can see all the fun and excitement your dog has had that day!
