About Me/ Company

I have cared for and loved animals passionately for as long as I can remember and have confidently known that I want to build a career in the animal care sector since I was a small child. Anxious to begin, I was fourteen when I started dog walking for my elderly neighbours and built up a small, healthy reputation in my local area. At 16 I secured my first part time placement as a kennel hand and that year, I moved to Cheshire to study for a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Management at a specialised college with fantastic animal care facilities. There I gained invaluable experience working in the on-site zoo, kennels and farm with a cornucopia of creatures; everything from big cats to goldfish, day in and day out. A year later, upon my return to Derby I began a traineeship with the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, through whom I have recently gained my Level 2 diploma in Practical Environmental and Wildlife Conservation. I am a mature, intelligent and ambitious young person that thrives when working hands on with pets and their owners whilst providing a high quality of care.
