BRIDPORT, DORSET OR ORPINGTON, GREATER LONDON/KENT. offering friendly, reliable dog-walking.

I am self-employed as Just a Hand and offer cleaning and housekeeping, administration and secretarial services, and I have a deep love of dogs. The dog-walking and occasional sitting has developed as a result of being asked to care for dogs by the various people I have worked for in another capacity. Word soon gets around!
I am 51, fit and active and I walk 3 miles or so a day, with or without a dog.
I am affectionate with animals, kind but firm, and also strong enough to help most dogs in or out of the car if necessary. I have a 4wd Honda CRV in which most dogs can be transported comfortably.

Previous Experience

I have done paid dog-walking for the team rector in Bridport, I have done dog-sitting at my home for a Labrador and Golden Retriever on a number of occasions, as well as for a Springer Spaniel. I will shortly be accommodating a pair of Parson's Jack Russells for the weekend. I have experienced special diets and special behaviours, and would consider myself able to adapt to the needs of your dog.

Qualifications & Training

Food Hygiene Safety Certificate, First Aid at Work certificate, and 3 CRB checks in recent years.

Relevant Info

Most importantly, I am in Orpington in Kent on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Bridport in Dorset on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. A daily service is, therefore, not possible. Weekends are variable and I may be able to help by prior arrangement.

I do provide cleaning, housekeeping, domestic, admin and secretarial services if you need other help.
