About Me/ Company

Hey! My name is Lizzie, I am an approachable, mature, responsible 18 year old girl from Poole. I am animal mad and have spent my whole life around animals!

I studied Level 3 Equine Care at Kingston Maurward and received the highest grades possible (D*D*D) - although the course is not directly related to dogs, the knowledge I have gained of animal behaviour and care in general has been invaluable!
We have had a variety of dog breeds my entire life, and I have been solely responsible for the care of my own horses and dog for years, so would consider myself to be a very responsible owner and animal carer.

I can provide many references of my working with and taking care of animals, and have a drivers license that I’ve held for over a year with no crashes etc.
I pride myself on being polite, friendly and reliable.
I absolutely adore our energetic Cocker Spaniel Poppy - my Mother works full time so I am the sole carer for her six days a week - you are of course welcome to see for yourself how loved and cared for she is!

I am happy to provide any number of references, answer any questions you may have, and am willing to drive up to 40 minutes from Upton (covering surrounding areas such as Poole, Bournemouth etc)

Previous Experience

• Have been around and owned a variety of dog breeds for 16 years - including rescue dogs, spaniels, collies, labradors etc.
• Have had six different puppies - all different breeds - so used to handling young dogs and familiar with puppy training.
• Have studied animal behaviour and care to a high standard.
• Have cared for Competition horses for over a decade, including working at several different top equine livery yards to care for the horses - have worked for some prestigious trainers in the equine world In where professionalism and care for the animals is expected to be of the highest quality.
• Have been a member of, and competed through various associations in where the animal care and welfare is of the highest importance and standard, since I was 10 years old.
• Have been in full responsibility for several of my own animals for years, and have always prided myself on going above and beyond the ‘normal’ to look after them and keep them looking at their best.
• Have been the sole carer 6 days a week for my own very happy Cocker Spaniel for almost a year.
• Competed my old dog in agility classes.

Qualifications & Training

• Level 3 Advanced Extended Diploma in Equine Management at Kingston Maurward.
Received Distinction*, Distinction*, Distinction.
• Gained my Drivers licence in 2019 and have had no crashes etc, has own reliable car.
