About Me/ Company

You can rest assured that your beloved pets will be safe and happy with me. I adore them and I make sure they know it!

I love the outdoors, and am no fair weather walker; if your dog's happy to walk in the rain then so am I! I will make sure your dog not only goes for a walk, but that he/she runs around like a headless chicken for the entire time we are out so that after a quick clean up, all they'll want to do is sleep until you come home!

Any dogs that are to be walked in a group will first of all be given a private walk (at the group price) so I can get to know the dog and ensure their suitability for the group walks. I will not put any dogs at risk if I am unsure of one's temperament.

Previous Experience

Most people, including myself, have experience of walking and caring for their own and their families dogs. However, for me, this wasn't enough so last year I volunteered in a dog day care, training and agility centre. I found it very interesting to see how dogs interact with each other and learn, and am keen to understand more. My days there were spent exercising and entertaining the dogs while constantly observing their body language to ensure that if a scuffle was going to break out, it was stopped before it had chance to.

Since leaving there I started my dog-walking business, and I feel I am improving my knowledge and understanding of dog behaviour every day. They all have different personalities, behaviours and habits, each requiring a different approach which I work out myself as I get to know each dog.

Relevant Info

AVAILABILITY

I am currently working a part time job while my business is just starting. My availability is as follows:

Tuesdays - if you are happy for your dog to be walked as part of a
group, I will be able to do this around lunchtime.
- if you would like your dog to be walked alone, I will be
able to do this in the morning or the afternoon.

Thursdays & Saturdays - Group walks available in the afternoon
(around 2pm). I am currently fully booked
for private walks on both of these days.

Depending on the amount of enquires I have, I may be in a position to give more time on a Thursday and Saturday to dog walking so please do ask. However, I will never be available for dog walking on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Other Services

RATES

Dog Walking:

Group (max 4) £10 for an hour walk, £5 for each additional dog from the same household.

Private £12 for an hour walk or £8 for 30 minutes.

Please note that these rates are for the Darlington area only. If you live outside of Darlington, please enquire.

Pet Care and Sitting:
