About Me/ Company
I’m a 20 year old design student studying at AUB with a lot of extra time on my hands. Due to lockdown, I have been out of work for most of the past year - and walks on my own are starting to get a bit boring! I’m just looking for a bit of motivation to get out of the house when possible, by offering some run around time for dogs that need it!
Previous Experience
My family owned a Schnauzer x Poodle named Ralph, who we had from the age of 10 weeks until he was 6 (Rehomed with my mums friend due to an expensive and uncomfortable skin condition that we couldn’t manage for him). Ralph was a very lively dog with absolutely limitless energy - although he sometimes found walks quite challenging as he was scared of other dogs around him due to an attack when he was a baby - so I am very comfortable caring for a more timid and nervous dog.
As for bigger dog breeds, I have experience walking my uncles Border Collie, Smiffy. I walked Smiffy multiple times a week, from the age of about 4 months until he was 1, due to my uncle working away and my aunt having 2 small children at home. Despite being very large now, Smiffy is obviously still a puppy, so is very energetic. He’s very strong and gets very excited when he sees cats, squirrels, or any other fluffy little animal but it’s completely manageable once you know how to get his attention back. I also used to walk a lovely German Shepherd girly who was getting on a fair bit but was still needing to wear a muzzle due to aggression with other dogs - so I would walk her in a much bigger open space where we were less likely to run into anyone else.
On top of this, I have also been on many dog walks growing up with friends and their little guys, including Staffies, King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, German Shepherds, English Bulldogs, Bassett Hounds, Border Terriers, American Bulldogs. They’ve all been absolute dreams.
