About Me/ Company

I live in Bramley, Leeds, adjacent to the park. I have no dogs of my own but love dogs and all animals.

Last year I was made redundant from my job of over 20 years and presently I am in the process of setting up my own business working from home. This follows a long time hobby of mine, drawing pets and people (www.pastelportraiture.co.uk).

This allows me to work flexibly as and when required. I have a hatchback car and am happy to travel in and around Leeds.

I am very fit and healthy, love the outdoors and love walking.

Previous Experience

I have often looked after pets of family and friends whilst they are on holiday. I feel I'm particularly good with animals that have specific requirements. To give an example, at the moment I am looking after a 16 month old dog which has Addisons disease. This requires giving him his medication daily, keeping him stress free and happy and monitoring his conditions for signs of distress.

Also I look after a 4 year old dog that a friend found as a stray, which had clearly had a difficult start to life. He is nervous with people and with other dogs hence needed to be with somebody kind and caring, that the owner could trust.

Both dogs were looked after in my own home, and I provided regular updates to the wellbeing as was requested by the owners whilst they were on holiday.
