About Me/ Company

I am not a company, just an individual. I live in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.

I mostly work as a self-employed Tour Manager for two large UK Tour Operators (Saga Holidays and Newmarket). Not only am I reliable and trustworthy, I have owned and cared for dogs most of my life. However as I can be away from home for a few weeks at a time with my current job, I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment and I miss the canine company.

I am unable to accept any long term assignments, but I am ideal for short term help, such as if you are going on holiday or need to go into hospital. I will treat your pet like the family member it is, and will give it plenty of care and love as if it were my own.

Previous Experience

I am comfortable and confident with all sizes of dog, even the larger breeds.

I grew up with a German Shepherd/Boxer cross, who lived to be 13. My next dog was a lovely mongrel, a rescue dog, but sadly she got cancer only a year after I got her so I nursed her for a few months until she had to be put to sleep. Following her was a Retriever, who again lived to a ripe old age of 11.

I also regularly dogsat my neighbour's Rottweiler, but they moved away.

I am confortable taking care of elderly dogs as well as lively younger ones.

Qualifications & Training

I have no official qualifications, just a lifetime of experience and love.

For dogsitting/housesitting jobs I will be happy to provide a character reference from one of my employers.

I can also provide an enhanced CRB check if needed.
