About Me/ Company

I have a love for all animals especially dogs. I have two cats and a handful of chickens. I do have a large garden which can be used for training purposes if needed (especially recall and lead training) or can use nearby dog parks. I am in training myself and would love to gain more experience in hands on canine training. I only use positive reinforcement and clicker training and would need some personal background on the dog and situation if training is needed and also to understand the dogs needs and fears if any (cars, other dogs etc). I am happy to communicate all training that I conduct to the owner so that any shaping or training can be reinforced by the owner or family when I am not there.

Previous Experience

I have grown up with dogs, though do not have one now. I have walked friends and families dogs (mainly German Shepherds, Bison Frise, Chihuahua and Airedale Terrier). I have participated in relevant training at university, specifically positive reinforcement and clicker training and am looking to join my lecturers training business once I am no longer an official student. I have volunteered in an animal rescue centre with dogs and cats, at a dog groomers and at Wildwood Trust whilst studying at university.

Qualifications & Training

hold a Foundation degree in Applied Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare and awaiting grades for full BSc hons (Estimated 9th September). I also hold a VSA in the fundamentals of dog training and behaviour (2020).

Other Services

I am happy to wash or conduct minor hygiene clips (under arms, genitalia, mouth, toes) if you have the facilities to do so but cannot do this at my own home due to having indoor cats.
